If you feel it would be appropriate to share injuries or health problems with the teacher, then please do. Either do this before the class via the Contact Form or in person will be fine. Look after yourself - we're not doctors!
Our teachers are qualified and experienced practitioners. They have taught in schools and colleges as well as within the community. Some have performed professionally, and all are committed to ongoing professional development. They have been DBS (CRB) checked and are insured.
Wear something comfortable and stretchy. Jeans and skirts are probably a 'no!' Bare feet or soft soled dance shoes are fine. No shoes required in any class but trainers can be worn if preferred. Bring a yoga/exercise mat/towel for Adult classes.
In our weekly classes we believe in dancing for ourselves rather than for examiners! Therefore, we do not follow formal dance qualifications. However, we're really happy to help you with exams, for example if you're studying at GCSE level and above. Book some 1-1 tuition time.

Children love to dance! Children love music! We play games, explore the space, use colourful props and just have some silly feet fun :)
This is a structured but playful class.
Refreshments are included in the price.
‘Use it or Lose it’ is a LIIT class. It strengthens and tones the body, safely, using some dance and Callanetics inspired exercises. You'll feel both relaxed and energised in a low impact class.
Schools don't always have a full time dance teacher, so Dance Guildford can certainly help with leading one-off workshops or regular coaching.

This is a Contemporary based class with lots of time given to creativity and choreography. Children are introduced to dance technique and performance skills but with an emphasis on personal exploration.
If you can't make a group exercise class, or just prefer to work at a time and location convenient for you, then book some personal training.
